Former state prosecutor Monica R. Khirallah has successfully represented hundreds of persons facing criminal charges and has tried over 80 cases cases to a jury. She is highly rated by former clients who praise her zealous advocacy, compassion, and experience in the courtroom.
Monica started her criminal law practice at the Denton County District Attorneys Office where she became Chief of County Criminal Court Number 5. In 2015, Monica joined one of the largest criminal defense firms in Denton County where she represented hundreds of clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges. Whether your case involves mitigation and damage control or a fight to ensure justice, Monica has garnered the trust and confidence of those she represents and works tirelessly to secure the very best possible outcome.
This year, Monica will relocate her practice to the hill country where she will begin representing citizens of San Antonio and Boerne charged with criminal offenses.
Confronting criminal charges is an overwhelming experience that may cause anxiety, stress, loss of appetite, loss of sleep, and other health related issues. Monica understands these concerns and not only counsels you through the emotional challenge resulting from an arrest but is also a zealous advocate for your rights when you are unable to speak up for yourself. She maintains a high level of compassion throughout representation.
Monica comes from a long line of criminal defense attorneys in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised in Boerne, Texas and is a graduate of Sandra Day O’Connor High School, the University of Dallas, and Ave Maria School of Law. During law school Monica served clerkships with both the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.
Originally from Boerne, Monica resides in Dallas with her husband David, a partner at Thompson Coe. They are the proud parents of four boys, Davey, Daniel †, Gabriel, and Charlie. When Monica is not in the courtroom, you can find her at a local YMCA field with her boys in tow.
